Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of M7Deck (the "Service"), provided by M7 Design Services LLC, doing business as M7 Design Works ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

M7Deck is a project-scheduling and fabrication-tracking software-as-a-service platform for construction and fabrication trades. We may add, change, or remove features at our discretion, and we'll make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your login credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Subscription, Billing, and Cancellation

• The Service is billed on a recurring monthly, per-seat subscription basis, charged in advance via our payment processor (Stripe).
• Subscription fees are billed automatically until you cancel.
• You may cancel at any time through your account's billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access through the period you've already paid for, and you will not be charged again afterward.
• We do not prorate refunds for partial billing periods. See our Refund Policy below for exceptions.
• If a payment fails, we may suspend or limit access to the Service until payment is resolved.
• We may change our pricing with at least 30 days' notice before it takes effect for existing subscribers.

4. Refund Policy

• Payments already made for a completed or in-progress billing period are generally non-refundable, except as required by law or at our sole discretion.
• If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at developer@m7designworks.com within 30 days of the charge, and we'll review your request in good faith.
• Refunds, when granted, are issued to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data; interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation; or reverse-engineer, resell, or white-label the Service without our written permission.

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of the data you enter into the Service (job records, schedules, files, etc.). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that data solely to provide the Service to you. We do not sell your data to third parties.

We may periodically review and remove schedule data once it is no longer operationally relevant (for example, completed jobs or past-dated entries), at our discretion. This is not an automatic or scheduled process, and we do not guarantee a specific retention period.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by M7 Design Services LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Service itself.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, M7 Design Services LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, or for non-payment. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes (e.g., via email or an in-app notice). Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
